One name, four different tests
People search for a PFT calculator, but there is no single PFT. The Marine Corps PFT, the Army AFT, the Navy PRT and the Air Force assessment each use their own events, scoring charts and passing rules, and they change over time.
Rather than average them into one vague number, each calculator here scores your branch exactly, against the current standard for your age and gender. Pick your branch above to get an accurate result.
Questions
PFT questions
What is a PFT?
A Physical Fitness Test measures fitness with timed, scored events. Each U.S. military branch runs its own version with different events, standards and names, so the right calculator depends on your branch.
Which branch test do I need?
The Marine Corps runs the PFT, the Army the AFT (formerly ACFT), the Navy the PRT, and the Air Force its fitness assessment. Pick yours above to score against that branch's real standards for your age and gender.
How are the tests scored?
Each event is scored on its own scale, then combined. Most branches require a minimum in every event, not just a passing total, so one weak event can fail an otherwise strong test. Every calculator flags any event under the line.
